Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a physical barrier — a thermoplastic urethane film that bonds to the clear coat and absorbs physical damage like rock chips, road debris, and minor abrasions. Ceramic coating is a chemical barrier — a nano-ceramic compound that bonds to the paint (or PPF surface) to create hydrophobicity, UV resistance, and chemical resistance. They serve different purposes and work best together. PPF prevents physical damage; ceramic prevents chemical and UV damage and enhances gloss.

Full-body PPF with ceramic and window film typically takes 5–7 business days in our studio. The timeline includes paint correction (1–2 days), PPF installation (2–3 days), and ceramic coating cure time (1–2 days). We never rush the cure — the GYEON ceramic needs a controlled environment and adequate time to achieve full hardness. You'll receive updates throughout the process.

Absolutely. PPF is actually ideal for leased exotics — it protects the paint during your lease term and peels off cleanly at turn-in, leaving the factory paint in showroom condition. Ceramic coating is equally safe on leased vehicles. Many of our clients rotate through leases on Porsches, McLarens, and Lamborghinis specifically because PPF protects their security deposit.

GYEON Q² Mohs+ carries a 5-year certified warranty through our authorized applicator status. The warranty covers coating failure, loss of hydrophobic performance, and delamination under normal use. It does not cover physical damage, improper washing, or damage from automatic car washes. We strongly recommend hand washing only — we'll provide a full maintenance kit and care instructions at pickup.
