Every Package Includes

Our Non-Negotiables

Regardless of which package you choose, certain standards are never compromised at Spectra. These are the baseline — not the upsell.

01

Climate-Controlled Studio

Every installation is performed indoors, with controlled temperature and humidity. Dust contamination and weather variables that plague outdoor installs are eliminated by default.

02

Pre-Install Paint Correction

We correct the paint before any film or coating goes on. Applying product over swirls, water spot etching, or light scratches locks the defects in — we don't do that.

03

Post-Cure Inspection

After cure, every vehicle is inspected under halogen and LED lighting before it leaves our bay. We find anything we missed before you see it — and we address it on the spot.

04

Certified Products Only

We install XPEL Ultimate Plus and GYEON Q² Mohs+ exclusively — both carry manufacturer warranties tied to certified installer status. No gray-market or off-brand film.

05

Transparent Quoting

Your quote is itemized. You see exactly what's going on your car, where it's going, and what it costs. No line-item ambiguity, no post-install surprises.

06

Photo Documentation

Before-and-after photos of every vehicle. We document the paint condition on arrival, each installation stage, and the finished product. All photos shared with you at pickup.

Common Questions

Package FAQs

What is the difference between PPF and ceramic coating?

Paint Protection Film (PPF) is a physical barrier — a thermoplastic urethane film that bonds to your clear coat and absorbs physical impact: rock chips, road debris, and minor abrasions. Ceramic coating is a chemical barrier — a nano-ceramic compound that bonds to the paint (or to PPF) to create hydrophobicity, UV resistance, and chemical resistance. They solve different problems and work best layered together. PPF handles physical damage; ceramic handles chemical, UV, and environmental damage while enhancing gloss.

How long does installation take for each package?

The Essential package (ceramic only) typically takes 2–3 business days including prep, application, and cure. The Guardian package runs 4–5 days — the added PPF on the front requires precise panel prep and cut-pattern work before ceramic goes on. The Ultimate package takes 6–8 business days in our studio. We never rush the cure cycle: GYEON Mohs+ requires a controlled environment and adequate time to reach full 9H hardness. You'll receive photo updates throughout.

Is full-body PPF worth it compared to front-only?

It depends on how and where you drive. For Austin driving — I-35, construction zones, highway travel — front-only PPF (the Guardian package) catches 80–90% of real-world chip risk. Full-body (Ultimate) makes sense for vehicles that do frequent highway driving at high speeds, track use, or owners who simply want every panel protected regardless of statistical risk. We'll give you an honest recommendation based on your specific vehicle and driving habits during consultation.

Does PPF affect resale value?

Properly installed, properly maintained PPF from a certified installer increases resale value on collector and exotic vehicles — buyers know the paint underneath is pristine. XPEL film peels cleanly with gentle heat: no adhesive residue, no paint damage. On leased vehicles, it protects your security deposit and allows you to return the car in factory condition. We'll show you comparable sales data for your vehicle category if you'd like to discuss the ROI before deciding.
